PARINTRANS proposal

This is a plan for transport development which can be carried out from now on, based on following points:
-Advance agreement between the travellers and the operating controls of the transport network for public trips.

-The computerized combination of supply and demand data, directed to obtain the greatest possible yield of flexible lines.

-The development of the public trip from the door of origin to the door of destination through the combination of data and means of transport and agreements between companies.

- The creation of management companies for door-to-door trips, whose main assignment consists of planning its clients’ trips, according to diverse types of contracts, so that they will be picked up at their door of origin and carried to their door of destination according to the most advantageous schedule for them.

- The decrease in size of public transport vehicles, as much on the motorway as on the railroad, until 15 - 20 seats maximum is reached.
-The separation of speed using light elevation.
-Pedestrian Urbanisation, with the goal that, at ground level, circulation at more than 40 kilometres per hour will be forbidden, and the pedestrian will always have preference.

- The separation of merchandise by way of narrow conduits, generally subterranean.
- The development of very narrow conduits for delivering merchandise to the home.
- The development of automatic guidance with guide way.
- The development of compatible systems for light elevation and circulation at the ground level (dual mode).
- Legislation favourable to complete transport computerization, particularly in the following areas: The substitution of fixed-lines concessions from the state by flexible-lines concessions; increasing requirements for security, comfort, environmental respect and speed separation; the ordering of the operating transport companies; preference given to computerized public transport.
